Rosa Maria (Acosta) Moreno, 84, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at home. Born in Mexico, she lived in Syracuse many years. She worked in the maintenance department at Syracuse University for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, on W. Fayette St., Syracuse. Rosa was predeceased by her husband Saba Moreno, Sr. in 2001.
She is survived by her son; Sabas, Jr., of Cohoes, 2 sisters; Aurora and Maria Luisa Acosta, both of ElPaso, TX, a brother; Alberto Acosta, of ElPaso, TX, a sister-in-law; Dolores Moreyda, of Westdale, and many nieces and nephews.
Private services and burial was in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Syracuse. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, has care of arrangements.
