Sally L. Burgette

Sally L. Burgette, 61, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at James Square Health and Rehabilitation Centre. Born in Malone, she lived in Syracuse most of her life. Sally was employed as a security guard for 15 years, most recently at Securitas Security Co. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Diane Dupra and Bonnie Saccone and 1 brother, Robert Dupra.

She is survived by 5 children; Neillie (Rick Jedra) Hamlin, of Syracuse, Lonnie Burgette, of Norwich, David (Becky Towndrow) Vrooman, of Syracuse, Joe Burgette, of Syracuse and Jessica (Matthew) Shanahan, of Syracuse, 2 sisters; Elizabeth Ireton, of Syracuse and JoAnn Cole, of Baldwinsville, 10 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends who knew her as aunt and grandma.

Services will be held at 5 pm Wednesday August 18th at the American Legion Tipperary Hill Post #1361, 1951 W. Fayette St., Syracuse, with a reception to follow. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME has care of arrangements. Condolences may be offered at www.bagozzitwins.com.
