Thomas John Scheirer

Thomas John Scheirer, 33, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Tom was a life resident of Syracuse. He loved driving trucks and was fortunate to work as a driver for ARG Trucking in Syracuse. He was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, loved music, and spending time with his mother, sitting on her front porch enjoying a cup of coffee. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas R. Scheirer.

Tom’s family would like to immensely thank Detective Jason D’Addio, Officer Dave Cicirello, Rural Metro and Syracuse Fire and Rescue.

He is survived by his wife, the former Erin Whitney, mother; Karen (Zoanetti) Scheirer, of Solvay, sister; Lisa Scheirer, of Solvay, niece; Gianna, and nephew; Jordan, mother and father-in-law; Deborah and Ken Whitney, of Liverpool, Uncle Kenny, many more aunts, uncles and cousins, and his beloved dog, Louie.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 pm Wednesday, August 5, 2015 with services immediately following at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
