Jim spent much of his career as an investment advisor and had a keen interest in the stock market. However, Jim’s life was devoted to his family, including his wife and best friend of almost 60 years, Flossie, his three children and his eight grandsons, of whom he was extremely proud. He also enjoyed spending time with and supporting his extended family and friends, and investing time within his communities, including the YMCA, Holy Name Church, the American Red Cross and the Westport Council on Aging.
Respected by many for his integrity, he was genuinely interested in the well-being of others. Jim engaged those around him with his varied interests, humor and well-placed sentiment. Interested in history and current affairs, he also enjoyed golf, tennis and reading.
