

Joseph Brehaut Araujo, 19, of Dartmouth passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 27, 2015 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was the beloved son of Betsy Brehaut Araujo of Dartmouth and John Araujo of New Bedford.
Born in New Bedford, Joe graduated from the Greater New Bedford Vocational High School Class of 2014. He was employed as an electrician at Precix, Inc. He enjoyed rock climbing, motorcycle riding, bon fires and building anything he could put together with two pieces of wood. Joe was a helpful young man who liked to drive around in the snow and help those in need. He would never accept anything in return.
In keeping with his generous nature, Joe was an organ donor and by doing that will save and improve countless lives.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Evelyn Araujo and a brother, Victor Araujo of Dartmouth; his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Brehaut also of Dartmouth; paternal grandfather, Angelo Araujo of New Bedford; his dear friend, Madisen Dugan of New Bedford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was the grandson of the late Hilda Araujo and Harry Brehaut.
His memorial visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 5-7 pm in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME of MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at DARTMOUTH, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth. Burial will be private. For online tribute/directions www.waring-sullivan.com
