Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Daniel and Elsie (Post) Moore she was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Jones worked as a bookkeeper for Coastline Elderly where she also served on the Board. Juanita previously worked at Westerly Associates and was the oldest member of the Martha Briggs Society.
She is survived by two sons, Frederick Jones of N. Reading and Daniel R. Jones of New Bedford; two sisters, Cordelia Bell of Middletown, RI and Shirley Mills of Falmouth; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Daniel L. Moore.
Her funeral service will be Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME of MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at DARTMOUTH, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth.
