I guess I spent more time with P then anyone.With work and our partnership we were together a lot .He was truly a gentile soul.I think back on some of the things we did and just laugh.Rest in peace Partner M.

Yes Paul it’s been 65 years—yes that long. You were an extraordinary man doing ordinary things. We were friends for a long time-and made many good memories; too many to list here.  I’m sure you are looking down and chuckling at some of them. I’ll miss you- you know- your goodness your irreverence- you’re dry sense of humor- and your unwavering faith in God. If you are out on the heavenly highway directing traffic ,I hope you are wearing the wool mittens I knitted for you.  I love you.  Your sister in law Marian

Uncle Paul was the best uncle/godfather you could wish for. He was a family man who was always there when you needed him. He was always around helping my mom with anything we needed. You could count on him because he always came through with help, encouraging words, and unconditional love. Alot of my memories were of our many family parties. He was a great man who knew how to have a good time. I will always cherish the love and good times we had. I love you Uncle Paul, Take care of mom for us, and dont worry, I won't sit too close to the tv. 💗💗

Growing up, I spent a lot of time with Uncle Paul at holiday gatherings and vacations in the Poconos. Like Uncle Freddy, he was a second father. He was stern and a tad scary at first, but very genuine and caring. He would greet me with a finger crushing handshake and “you behaving boy”.  The momentary terror would quickly evaporate as a grin widened on his face. He would then ask me to explain “what was wrong with this picture?” I would soon learn the answer.  He didn’t have a beverage. He would send me to fetch him one with my mangled hand. I would return with haste as to not draw his ire. What usually followed was something that I would come to cherish. He would always teach me something or patiently explain how to act and certainly how not to act, especially in his house. I wish he was around more as I got older. I definitely could have used his guidance along the way.  You will missed more than you know.

My heart goes out to all the family. Uncle Paul was a really cool guy and I really liked his sense of humor.  I wish we didn’t live so far apart, I would have enjoyed spending time to get to know him even more.  Fred always speaks so highly of Uncle Paul.

Most of my memories of Uncle Paul were when I was growing up. He was one of the kindest souls. He was always at our house helping my mom with my Aunt Rhody. He worked and had a family but still made a ton of time to help my mom and be around for us. He was always fixing things that I probably broke fighting with my siblings and he used to always hold my hand, mainly to squeeze when I was being a terrible teenager or just to be sweet and show me some love.  I wish I had more time with him as an adult because it wasn’t until I had my own kids that I actually appreciated the time he spent with us as kids. Him and my uncle Fred were constants in my life  and I will miss them both so much. Rest in peace Uncle Paul, love you.

Saying Goodbye to my Father is too difficult to put into words, but I will try.  My life is what it is because of this GREAT man!  He was there to show me right from wrong, good from bad, charity over selfishness, and calm over chaos.  He was always fair, honest and loving.  He was my rock!
Dad was also so much fun.  Everyone wanted to spend time with him, but I had the front row seat.  I remember the day I was supposed to start Baseball Clinic for the first time (I turned out to be not so good at baseball), I was probably 5 years old.  It was raining and I was looking out the living room window.  Dad came up to me and said there would be no clinic that day, but he still gave me my first baseball glove.  There were so many days of little things like that.  The day I bought an AMC Gremlin, and it had a broken cross member.  He turned it into a project to fix the car together.  The car was junk, but the memory is forever.  He helped me fix my house, then build another, then fix another.  Every time, the enjoyment of being with him was all that mattered.  He made work fun.  He was also a great builder and all of those projects came out beautiful.
He was always there for my friends.  He was present, checking up on us, being a great parent to me and also watching out for them.  
Dad loved his wife, my Mom.  What a great thing to have a father show you how to treat a woman and how to be a man.  He loved his children.  We all talked about it all the time, our great father was not a secret and we all appreciated him so much.  Dad also loved his grandchildren and our annual trips to Florida were highlighted by playing with dad by the pool.
My Father was full of Faith and love for Jesus, and he taught me what that meant.  My faith is stronger because of him.  When dad passed, I knew that there was special moment at the Gates of Heaven.  He didn’t just go in, he was met with a Standing Ovation, Job well done!
I miss you dad, and we will meet again in Heaven.  I love you!

Mr Bannon was a great man, inside and out. One of the most honorable men i’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.  Because of him being such a great father, I met a friend  early in my childhood who would be a life long friend, who  that I can trust with my life. Paul has all his dad’s quality’s. My dad  and Mr Bannon served as police officers together and he only had good things to say to me about Mr. Bannon. Shows you he was loved by all. It was my honor to know him. My prays go out to the Bannon family in these difficult times.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Bannons passing.  

I became friends with Roey in my teens and was welcomed by the entire family with open arms.  Despite my being a rather annoying teenager and young adult, Mr. Bannon always went out of his way to be kind to me and include me.  I remember him joking, laughing, and smiling - he was one of the first police officers I knew personally.  I am now a mental health therapist who supports first responders - and meeting the Bannon family toward the end of High School impacted me deeply.
To everyone who loved him - may your memories be a blessing.

The world is a better place having had my grandfather in it. It’s hard to explain what an incredible person he was, you were just lucky to have him in your life. He was an outstanding role model to his kids and grandkids. I always looked up to him and regarded him for his wisdom and advice. He was always trying to guide me in the right direction in life. His influence continuously drives me to be a better person. I have so many wonderful memories with him like when he used to put me on his lap to mow his enormous lawn in wantage,nj or flying a kite together in his backyard. Or all of the holidays we shared together spending time while grandma cooked a delicious meal for us all.  Some of the best are simply sitting on the couch watching Mr. Bean or Xena Warrior Princess with him or just doing a Norman Rockwell puzzle. He was an absolutely amazing grandfather and words can’t express how much he will be missed. I love you Grandpa!!

There have been so many memories and stories throughout my life, it's hard to sum up our great times together. All I can say is, Thanksgivings will never be the same!!
Mr. "Why-not", will leave memories that will never be forgotten. We will always think about him and love him, with all our heart.

Paul was a Wonderful Guy and I will never forget working with Him. He gave me great financial advice early in my career that greatly improved my retirement. Always a smile and never a bad word about anyone. Rest in Peace old Friend You were one of the Good Guys.

My Father-My Beloved, Honorable and Beautiful Father- My Dad- The Man like no other, he was “Everything “ to me and my family!!!  One of the best memories I have are the times we had alone building a vacation home in my teen years, we would talk and sing in the car rides up and back. Paul Bannon was a great man  he was the best man in my wedding  I will always love him for taking ray under his wing and helping him see his way I loved always taking a ride to Lehigh acres to volunteer at st Raphael church always looked forward seeing him and rosemary. So sorry to hear the news about Uncle Paul. He was the best husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. I have the privilege of calling him my uncle. I have so many memories of him growing up. Every time I am in my living room I get to see the School House Clock he made for  myself and Jim for our wedding. He was so talented.  Until we meet again.
