Born in New Bedford, a son of Jose and Maria C. (Bulhoes) Medeiros of Dartmouth, he was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Dartmouth High School, Class of 1994.
Ricky was athletic, enjoyed playing all sports but especially hockey, and loved the Bruins. He was a proud full time Dad to his son Trendyn.
Surviving in addition to his son and parents: three brothers: Kevin J. Medeiros, of New Bedford, Brian J. Medeiros, Joey Medeiros, Jr. and his wife Erica all of Dartmouth, two nephews and one niece: Jared, Austin and Arianna Medeiros, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and lots of great friends.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 8 AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at DARTMOUTH, 230 Russells Mills Rd. Dartmouth with a funeral mass at 9AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Rivet St. New Bedford. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
