Barbara had a love and compassion for the human spirit from an early age which led her to a life of compassion and service to others. After graduating as valedictorian of her high school class she then went on to nursing school. From there Barbara entered the convent and began her first career as a nun with a nursing background. During this time Barbara became a world traveler and spent time in Ghana helping to develop a nursing school for women and also spent time in Ireland as a midwife where she helped deliver 26 Irish babies, staying true to her devotion.
She continued her career in nursing. She worked for VNA hospice on Cape Cod where she was able to continue helping people. Barbara was a friend of Bill W. and recently celebrated 40 years and this was a place where she was able to help and be an inspiration to countless numbers of people.
Barbara is survived by her sister Dorothy Pallotti of Dennis.
