Charles M. Hagan

Charles Marvin Hagan, 84, of East Dennis formerly of Oyster Bay, NY passed away peacefully on September 11, 2016 surrounded by his wife Marianne and family. Charles "Bud" was born in Atlantic City, NJ to Charles Hagan Sr. and Dorothy Palmer Hagan in 1932. He was predeceased by his sister Dorothy.

He Graduated from Atlantic City H.S. and received B.A. in education from Clemson University. He served 2 years in the US Army following graduation at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Charles spent his working career as a math teacher and in information technology. Charles enjoyed sharing his knowledge of computers at the Dennis Counsel of Ageing following retirement. Charles is survived by six children: David(Jane), Mark, Michael(Jill), Stephen(Cathy), John, Patrick (Kristine). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren: Lindsey, Sean, Molly, Margaret, Bradley, Kendall, Matthew, Conner, Mitchell, Benjamin, Hunter, Jack and Grace. A viewing will be held on Thursday September 15, 2016 from 9-10:30am at Doane Beal & Ames funeral home 729 RT 134 S. Dennis, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Cape Church in Brewster MA.
