Christopher Norcross passed away in March, 2024 at age 74 in Harwich, Massachusetts. Christopher was a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art & Design, and was a builder, remodeler, cabinetmaker & contractor in Boston, New Hampshire, & Cape Cod. He spent all his boyhood summers in Harwich on Cape Cod, and moved to The Cape permanently in 1986, where he built his own home on Robbins Pond in North Harwich.
Christopher was in love with the sea, and came from five generations of New England seamen. He spent several happy years boating on Bass River and Nantucket Sound, making many trips out to The Islands with his wife, Linda. Christopher was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman; and was a member of the Cape Cod Fish & Game Club since he was a teenager, where he was the top trap shot for several years. He enjoyed hunting on Cape Cod as a young man, and later in New Hampshire & Maine. His happiest times were in the woods & on the ocean.
Christopher is survived by his true love and wife, Linda Salamon; his beloved son Adam Norcross & Adam’s partner, Jess Daniels: his grandchildren Taylar Norcross, Ashtan Norcross, & Logan Norcross, his great-grandchildren Joanna, Sofia, & Vera, and his sister Deb Norcross. He was predeceased by his brother Jonathan Norcross and his parents Alvin & Elizabeth. Christopher served on the Town of Harwich’s Land Acquisition Committee and was deeply concerned with the preservation of Cape Cod.
