Donald Charles Packard

Donald C. Packard age 84 passed away peacefully on December 14, 2010, He grew up in Brockton, MA and formerly resided in Dedham, MA. Donald was born January 9, 1926 and was the son of the late Donald and Grace Packard of Brockton, MA.

Beloved husband of 59 years to Eleanor "Jean" Packard and three sons, Donald C. Packard Jr. of Rehoboth, MA and his companion Donata, William J. Packard of Somerset, MA and his wife Donna. Stanley A. Packard of Brockton and his wife Dawn, and also the late David B. Packard and his wife Betty of Natick, MA.

Donald was known as "Grampie" to his five grandchildren, William, Jason, Courtney, Alexandria and Adam Packard.

He is also survived by his two beloved dogs, Max and Missy.

Long time employee of the Gillette Corporation in So. Boston, MA. He enjoyed fishing, boating Square Dancing and traveling.

Visitation will be held Friday December 17, 2010 from 3 pm. to 6 pm atDoane, Beal and Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, South Dennis MA 02660. Funeral will be held Saturday December 18, 2010 at 11 am The Congregational Church of South Dennis, 218 Main Street, So. Dennis, MA 02660.
