

Jeffrey was born in Attleboro, MA, the son of the late June T. Taylor. He was raised in North Attleboro, MA and attended the North Attleboro school system where he excelled in all sports and made several state and county all-star teams in baseball and football. He was a DAV who served at home and abroad for three years in the United States Army 1st Division, known as the Big Red One. The Berlin wall went up six weeks after he joined. In 1966 he joined the Massachusetts State Police where he proudly served for 33 years, retired with the rank of Lt. Along the way, he graduated with a BS from Worcester State college and an MS from American International College.
Jeffrey was a devoted son, amazing father, the best Grandpa (Gpa) and Great-Grandpa ever. His favorite thing to do was attend all his grandchildren’s sporting events, whether it be football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, golf, volleyball, hockey or simply going to the park. Known by many at the hockey rinks as “Grandpa”. He was truly one of a kind.
He was predeceased by his wife of 33 years Carol L. Hulten Taylor who died of Covid in 2021. Jeffrey is survived by his loving, devoted and independent children, Brandy Villani and her husband Jim of South Yarmouth, MA, Kimberly Raftery of Harwich, MA, and Marc Hulten and his wife Laurie of Yarmouthport, MA. He is also survived by his previous wife of 17 years, Nancy Dionne Taylor, mother of his two daughters.
Jeffrey is survived by his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Taylor and his wife Asia and their two children Luca and Autumn of Mashpee, MA, Jason Villani of South Yarmouth, MA, Taylor and Luke Raftery of Harwich, MA, and Lexie and Max Hulten of Yarmouthport, MA.
Jeffrey is also survived by his cousins, Michael Catenacci, 100% DAV US Army, of Cumberland, RI; Kathy Dellinger of Coventry, RI, predeceased by husband Arnie a career Army Officer who later died from Agent Orange; Robyn Radnor of Attleboro, MA; Robert Catenacci and his wife Tammy of Rehoboth, MA; and Tina Goulart and her husband Michael of Attleboro, MA. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his cousin George Catenacci of Attleboro, MA.

A private Celebration of life service will be held at a later date for family members.
