I will always remember Joe as a good, kind man who always seemed to have a smile on his face, he never seemed to have a bad word to say about anyone. He will be greatly missed by all of us who came to call him friend.

I am very sad to hear of my friend’s passing. I grew up with Joey he lived just one block away. I knew him very well when I was young. I remember Joey showing me how to wash dishes at China Joy Restaurant...I remember helping him with a science project in school... I remember frequent visits to my house just to pass the time... I remember he went to my wedding and I went to his. I remember a friend that I’ll never forget.
God bless.

Joe had the best laugh in Mattapan. When Joe was around you knew you would be smiling and laughing all day or night (and you hoped that you would stay out of trouble).

Joe, you will be missed greatly.

Joe gave his all working at Pilgrim but he gave more to the people he worked with. He made an effort to make me feel at ease on any job. Our lunchroom laughs were great. Forever in our hearts Joe and family.
