He was the beloved husband of the late Edna(Bassett) Smith and father of the late Edwin Scott Smith. He is survived by his son Nathan Smith Jr. of West Harwich , his grandchildren, Arthur Castaneda of W. Harwich, Jeanie Linhares of Dennis, Tina Smith of Orleans, Natalie Smith of So. Yarmouth, Cheryl Smith of Oregon, Scott Smith of San Francisco, Tony Smith of Michigan, Willy Smith of Oregon. His great grandchildren Jesse , Jacob and Jimmy Lee Linhares of Dennis, Jenny McLaughlin of Yarmouthport, Kerrilynn , Joshua, Brandy and Billy Smith of Orleans, Robert Buchelt of so. Dennis, Justin and Gabe Smith of E. Harwich, Joshua and Kayla Smith of Michigan. His great great grandchildren, Makayla, Josiah and Malena McLaughlin of Yarmouthport, Jocelyn Linhares of Marstons Mills. Also he leaves nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews in Conneticut. He was also an avid sports fan. Grampa loved to play ping pong and Frisbee with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed. We loved him very much.
