

Born June 2, 1930 in Springfield, Massachusetts, Normand was the youngest child in his family. He is predeceased by his parents, Isaie and Aline (Girouard) Methe; brother Laurent Methe; sisters Lillian (Methe) Pilon and Jeanette (Methe) Lapan; and his oldest child, Norm Jr.
Normand is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Lorraine (Laplante) Methe; daughter MaryAnn (Methe) Corriera and husband John; daughter Eileen (Methe) Minahan; Daughter-in-Law Diane (Buker) Methe Siddell and husband Donald; grandchildren Beau Methe and his wife Holly; Don and Brett Siddell, Christine and Matthew Corriera; Mary, Max and Amanda Minahan and great grand-daughter, Brynn Kaleigh Methe.
Norm and Lorraine met as children at St. Joseph's Catholic School in Springfield, were partners in their First Communion procession and went on to be classmates at Cathedral High School. Normand graduated from Western New England College in Springfield, MA and embarked on a 30 year career as District Director at Conrad Fafard, Inc. After retirement, Normand and Lorraine relocated to West Dennis, Cape Cod.
Norm will be best remembered for his quick wit, as well as his kind and gentle soul. He was loved and admired by all who knew him, and leaves a legacy of altruistic service to others.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Church, 221 Plumtree Road, Springfield, MA on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 10:00am.
