Patricia O'Connor (nee Shea) aka Trish, beloved mother, Sister, Aunt and incredible Nurse, passed away without pain or suffering on February 26, 2021 at her home in South Dennis, MA where she resided for the past 36 years.
Trish was Born on December 7th, 1953 to Beverly and Joseph Shea in Ann Arbor, MI. She was the middle child of 5 daughters. As a young person, she loved art and theater. One of her drawings won an award at The Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington DC.
Trish loved music. Carpool karaoke sessions with Trish were memorable and fun. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was incredibly kind. Trish's house was where her kids and their friends gathered. The fridge was well-stocked, and she made everyone feel safe with her "come-as-you-are; there is no judgement here" approach to life. Her work ethic and resiliency were an integral part of her character. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. Some of the happiest moments of her life were spent on cruise ships traveling the world with her sisters.
Trish was predeceased by her parents, her husband John Steven O'Connor, and her beloved sisters, Nancy and Amy Shea. She will forever be remembered lovingly by her three children: Cassie (Patrick) Vanthuyne, Erin O'Connor, and Daniel Kelly, and her grandchildren: Simon, Brandon, Emily, Martin, Alexis and Joshua, by her sisters Mary Helt, and Elizabeth Shea, 2 nieces, and a nephew.

A Celebration of Trish's Life will be held at the Doane, Beal, & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Rt. 134, South Dennis on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow the service.
Burial will be private on Thursday.
