Paul Francis Savoy

Paul F. Savoy, 88, of South Dennis, MA, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Paul was the son of Peter and Mildred Savoy of Holbrook, MA. Raised in Holbrook, Paul was one of nine children.

Paul attended Sumner High School in Holbrook, where he met and married his highschool sweetheart who he always called “my Jeanne”. He joined the Army in 1953, and served during the Korean war. Paul and Jeanne were happily married for 68 years. They moved their family to Cape Cod in 1973 where Paul was a chef at the Columns Restaurant in West Dennis. In 1976 Paul started his flooring installation company joined by his son, Michael.

Paul was the beloved father of six children. Paula, Daniel, Jeanmarie, Cheryl, Michael and Richard. Paul enjoyed being a grandfather. His 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren were a source of great joy and happiness.

A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Cape Cod Hospital, and the loving and caring nurses from Beacon Hospice for making Paul’s last days peaceful and comfortable.
