Valentin is survived by his son Valentin Rodriguez; his son Anthony Rodriguez; his son Larry Rodriguez; and his daughter Valerie Rodriguez; his sister Yolanda J. Romero, his sister Elizabeth Goytia, his sister Yvonne Pedregon, his sister Rachel Rodriguez, his brother William Rodriguez, his sister Patricia Rodriguez, his sister Diane Moreno, his brother Stephen Rodriguez, his brother Richard Rodriguez, his brother David John Rodriguez and his sister Rebecca Trujillo.

Valentin was preceded in death by his wife Marlene Rodriguez; his mother Delia Mestas Rodriguez and his father Valentin Rodriguez Sr.

A visitation for Valentin will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Nativity Church, 3743 Tyler Ave, El Monte, CA 91731. A rosary will occur Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Nativity Church 3743 Tyler Ave, El Monte, CA 91731. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 9:30 AM, at Nativity Church 3743 Tyler Ave, El Monte, CA 91731.

Valentin will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery, 966 Potrero Grande Drive, Rosemead, CA 91770.
