Great Uncle Chester is immortalized in my memory for his "gimme 10". When ever Id see him at Grandma and Grandpa Igielski's hed always do the gimme 10 as hard as i could til we were both cracking up laughing. I will continue this tradition in his honor with my son, Silas.

Great Uncle Chester is immortalized in my memory for his "gimme 10". When ever Id see him at Grandma and Grandpa Igielski's hed always do the gimme 10 as hard as you could. This brought the biggest smile to both of our faces. In his honor, I will continue to play this game with my 1 year old son, Silas.

Uncle Chester's smile was contagious, and guaranteed. I hope Wheel of Fortune comes in clear in heaven...I loved watching him and Aunt Jeanne solve the puzzles with Grandma and Grandpa

The words that everybody says are not enough but, the memories that we keep of the love he has given all to his family will never be forgotten.You have my deepest sympathy.

Another pillar of my youth has fallen, a great man, one of only a handfull I looked to for guidence to help shape me as I grew up. Mr Sakwinski and his family have been and always will be in my prayers. Please accept the tears I shed for your loss. It was Gods blessing to share him with his family as long as he did. As our Father calls him home he will once again be blessed with the strength and youth of his past, he will embrace his wife and raise a friendly hand to the Nolte's & Motto's waiting their to greet him home.

I am truly saddened to hear of your loss and would like to express my sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of your father. It is obvious that you were all very fortunate to have such a fine man as your father and role model.  Please accept our heartfelt condolences.

Tears roll down my face as I'll never hear the response to "how are you doing?" with: "Old and crabby" anymore.  I smile with tears in my eyes at the reunion you longed awaited for and know that as you ascend to heaven that you'll look down on us all and joyfully say "Keep smiling" to one and all.

He taught me how to use a driver; 
he gave me hope and desire.
He taught me how to swim with no fear; 
he told me that life wasn't always fair.
He watched every basketball game
and treated me like fame.
He bought me ice-cream
and listened to my every pain. 
As a child I talked to him everyday, 
we never ran out of things to say.
Without him I don't know who I'd be, 
but one things for certain I wouldn't be me.
He taught me how to be just like him, 
and I already am within.

To the Sakwinski Family 

Over the years we have enjoyed numerous and wonderful stories of your Father and the love he shared with his extended family. It was obvious he was very proud of all of you. May he rest in peace.

Dad I will miss you more than words can describe. I will miss seeing your name pop up on my phone and I will miss all the drives thru the park and our Friday errands and all the stories you would tell. Now when I drive thru Grant Park I'll remember the place you pointed out  to where you and your childhood friends would play Tarzan and try to swing from the trees! And the mischievious adventures as a teenager that you'd tell, how we'd laugh!! But I think my most favorite story you told is when you were a teenager and you helped your father study to become a citizen of the U.S. and after he passed the test with flying colors he took you to the local bars to celebrate!
 And I do remember so clearly that when your father became aged and frail you would bring him home to bathe and care for him. You took care of your aging parents, I remember that Dad!  I know you weren't a perfect dad, but you were pefect for this family. God fearing and ever so wise. You were quick to point out all your imperfections but you really tried to reach a higher understanding of what God wanted of you. I remember a  humbled man on his knees next to your bed deep in prayer.....I remember that dad!

So, thank you Dad for all the talks and our 'scooter' walks, the lectures and even the scoldings! You are a very special man to me and I love you ever so dearly.

I will always treasure our Friday nights that we had together these past few years.   Thanks for letting me read "the letters". It is one of the most precious things I was able to do. I was able to get to know you and Mom in a most wonderful way. Watching a Brewer game will never be the same    Rest now ny most precious Daddy.  You certainly deserve it. Can't wait to see you and Mom together again in Paradise.   Until then here is our bedtime song:

Daddy, we certainly had our ups and downs through the years; but you were and still are my very first love, my hero.  You NEVER shirked your responsibility of raising eight children.  We always felt safe because you provided us with everything we needed -- a place to call home, food on the table, and clothes to wear.  Through that, you taught me the importance of sacrifice and to help others without expecting anything in return.   I am so very proud to be your daughter.  My heart aches with grief right now because I miss you; but there is also such a peaceful joy in knowing that you are Home with Mom never to be separated again.  I know you'll both be watching over us with the most profound and perfect love any parents could have for their children -- and that, I think, is the greatest gift you could ever give us.  I'll love you forever, Dad, and I will cherish the heavenly promise of seeing you again someday.  Until then, please be sure to give Mom a big hug and kiss for all of us.

I have been so blest & honored to call you my Grandpa! I love you very much!

My grandpa was the CUTEST grandpa you will ever meet! I especially loved how he 'styled' his hair his last year. :) He always greeted me with a smile when we came for a visit, and when I recently told him he was going to be a great-grandpa again, he responded with a most enthusiastic ''Oh Boy!!!!' we will miss you dearly Grandpa. Until we meet again, in paradise.... I love you!!
