

Of Cudahy, Born to Eternal Life March 24, 2014 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of Helen (Nee Cibulskis) and the late Gerladine (Nee Buttke). Loving father of Kathleen (Robert) Kohler, John P. Pari, Judith (Paul) Watson, Dan Pari, Patricia (Joseph) Hren, and step-father of Marilyn (Dan) Platt, Georgine (Edward) Tomayer, Greg (Mary) Fabisiak, and Annette (Dave) Braun. Proud grandfather of Kristin Kohler, Brian Kohler, Natalie (Zachary) Schulz, and Christopher Hren, and 6 step-grandchildren. Great-grandfather of Bethany, Nicholas, and 5 step-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Joseph (Kathy) Pari, and Ann (Vern) Remior. Further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, March 27, at 12:00PM at Divine Mercy Catholic Church. 695 College Ave. Cudahy. Visitation on Thursday from 10:00AM until time of Mass at church. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
John was born in Hungary and grew up in Milwaukee. He served in the Army during WWII having attained the rank of Sergeant. His unit was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for their part in the invasion of Luzon. He was also awarded the South Pacific Ribbon and the Good Conduct Medal.
John was the Co-Founder of Bay View Optical. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #49, and the Van Eimeren-Kolonka American Legion Post #27.
