Joyce Jankowski

Of Holmen. Surrounded by her family, Joyce died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 74. Reunited with her parents: George and LeStencia; siblings: Georgia, Virginia, Richard, Bud, Jean and Jim. Surviving are her children: Candy (Harv) Carman, Craig (Patty) Jankowski, Kim (Jeff) Iwinski and Jerry (Danette) Jankowski Jr; grandchildren: Jason, Rob, Jeffrey, Anthony, Jack Jr, Carissa, Ashley and Amanda; one great-grandchild: Alyssa; siblings: Bernie (Jan) Lamon, Jane (friend Les) Burazin, Sharon (Ole) Iverson, Art (Shirley) Lamon, Bill Lamon, David (Lynn) Lamon and Jennie (Mark) Drangstveit, other relatives and friends. Joyce held a special place in her heart for Chad Lee Sobkowiak and her gambling buddy, MaryAnne Stima.

Joyce worked at Reliable Knitting in Milwaukee before moving to Holmen. She then worked for Northern Engraving and ORC Industries until her retirement. Joyce enjoyed trips and travel with her family, even a stop to the casino. She liked to fish and was an avid Packers and Brewers fan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated.

Visitation Thursday, October 10 from 1:00-2:45PM at the funeral home with Memorial Service 2:45PM.
