shari, I am so sorry to hear about Michaels passing....My prayers are with you and Jason...I just found out my friend, your mom, also passed away...I wish I would have known.

Family, Wife, and friends of Mike.

Sorry for your loss and mine; 

My friends Patty, Eddie " Sonny ", Ronnie, Delores and also Edward Michael's late Father.

Mike was my childhood friend from 5 years old to 18 when we went on to our own adventures in life. 

He was my very first friend at 5 years old and through out school.

I want to say he was a very large part of my growing up, he and I shared our childhood together. Went to school together, rode bikes,  walked and talked about life, held the chain link fence up for each other in the snow to take a short cut to school accross the Ralroad tracks, and discovered girls together. 

We built forts under ground, caught frogs and polliwogs in the swamp, played " Kick the can and tag. Disagreed and agreed, We discussed our first fuzz on our face when we started to shave. Got our first job together when we were 14 or 15 years old selling magazines on Plankinton and Wisconsin ave. Our first Bosses name was Joe Blatt. Shot Bows and arrows in the field  and played Baseball. Played together in the neighborhood. He was the perfect childhood friend.

We talked about lifes discoveries together. I couldn't breath one day and he told me he snorted water from his cupped hands to clear it and it worked. !!! 

We were part of each others development. I charish the Farm picnic he and his Father took me on, the hay bails and the hide and seek. Parties at there house. These are memories no one can ever take away although they may be lost to time, but not to me. To the brothers and sister I remember the dart board in the basement. Bobbing for apples in the coal barrel tub.
Your Fathers electronics room in the basement. I still remember his Birthday and still have our I.O.U. pocket book somewhere where we would owe each other change " Pennies " back and forth. We bought penny candy down at Bob's corner store.

My Father and his Father were also very Good friends. They would trade of taking us to school on very cold mornings and had New Years parties and Mike and I would laugh when they drank.

Mike was truly My Best Friend as a child. I hope everyone has had a Best friend like MIke. I never forgot him or his contribution to me. We lived accross the street from each other and had facing windows and had a morris code with flashlights in the dark to communicate little stuff. Like; Can you go out ?, doing Home work! We used flashes of light to answer questions at certain times. We didn't have phones like today,  or weren't allowed to use the rotary phone all the time.

Shari I believe I met you once at your home when Gary T. and I stopped over to see Mike in South Milwaukee. In 80s or 90s !

I will miss Mike even with all the years that have passed. He will forever be in my fondest memory.

He was one of the best bosses that I ever had. It was fun having you as boss at Patrick Cudahy. We always had a good time laughing. He was very down to earth. You will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Thanks for being a great boss.
