I dated Monica when we were both 21 years of age. I always felt she was one of the sweetest ladies I ever met and have thought about her many times over the years. Just recently I did a Google computer search to see if I could find out whatever happened to her and was very sad to find out she had passed away. Our last date was to see the movie Airport and it seems like it was just yesterday. I am happy that she found a great husband who has taken care of her over the years. My Long time friend Monica, I just found out you passed and I am so sad. I will  miss you and remember all the good times we had going to plays, concerts, summerfest and walking at the senior center. I was trying to call you for the longest time and now I know why you didn't call back. You will  be truely missed. My heart goes out to Guy and Whitey.We started out as friends working in Accounting at Allen-Bradley and remained friends over the years. We had many great times together that I will never forget. The angels must be taking good care of you now. I knew someone up there was helping me. Your were such a beautiful person. May God take care of you now. Rest in peace. Love you.

My Dear Long-time Friend, Monica,
Though in some ways it seems like yesterday, it was the spring of 3rd grade when we first met. One by one the lots sold and homes were being built upon them during the town's growth spurt. Then you and your family moved into your new home in my neighborhood. Up to that point, it was mostly younger kids than myself on our block. How perfect it was that a family of 3 girls moved in and you were my age! Though we attended different parochial schools we had after school and summer vacations to get to know one another while we played or went places your mom would drive us to as well as the short fun-filled trips your neighbors would take us on when their God-daughter visited from MN. In high school we did not have any classes together but always planned amusing things to do in our free time. I moved out of my hometown the day I married. You married and stayed. Correspondence of one type or another between our visits was how we kept in touch updating each other regarding our families. Regrettably, I did not know of your recent illness or I would have been there to share precious time and thank you for being a caring friend who quietly lived life selflessly invested in other's daily routine without turning the spot light on yourself. With all the good you have done for others it is surely your destiny to be comforted in Heaven.
I always missed catching up with you when you were available; but now, I really miss you since you are gone. If I live half as meaningful of a life as you have, and I hope it's a good long life for me to keep trying, perhaps I will be able to move into your newfound neighborhood.

Thank you so much for always being there for me when I wanted to do something.  The many times you went with me to my favorite coffee house so I could satisfy my addiction to chai tea latte even though all you had was hot water! You were always wanting to please no matter how exhausted you were feeling. I will and do miss our talks about our long past relatives, our walks through the park, our sister/aunt reunions in Florida and most of all just missing that loving person "you".

Monica was a wonderful person. She came in every morning smiling and made a point of recognizing everyone. She helped spread that joy. She was one of the kindest and hardest working people I have ever known. Monica will be missed by many.

I worked in the Er with Monica for 10+ years. I always found her to be a gentle loving person. It was MY honor to have known her. Peace and rest be with her soul. Blessings to her family.

Prayers to the family. So sorry for your loss.  Monica, what a great fight!  You were so stoic in your battle.  You gave inspiration to everyone you touched in both health and illness. Monica was a beautiful person. There was never a time that Monica didn't have a smile on her face. I enjoyed many lunches  at work with her watching her favorite soaps! I feel truly Blessed to say that Monica was a friend! She was Loved and she will be missed.

I worked with Monica for a number of years, but we were on different shifts so I never got to know her as well as I would have liked. But she was always so nice & easy to talk to. No matter how busy she was she was always patient, never getting short with anyone. Everyone at Sinai will really miss her!

I am so shocked and sorry to hear of Monica's passing. I used to see her at the gym at work every day, she took such good care of herself. I had the privilege of meeting Monica 12 years ago at Aurora Sinai. She was my preceptor in my new role, and I quickly learned how patient and kind she was. Even though Monica was a very private person, she always inquired about my family and friends in a compassionate way. My fondest memories of her are knowing she had to have lunch during the same time to watch her soap operas and the way her face lit up when she talked about her son. My thoughts are with her family and friends during this time of great loss. Monica, you will be missed by those whose life you touched.

I worked with Monica for 12 years at Sinai.  She was a wonderful woman who was loved by all of us.  She was so kind and even tempered, a very gentle soul.  My condolences to her family on this tremendous loss.
