Norbert Norb Earl Walker

Of Cudahy passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at the age of 80. Devoted husband of over 55 years to Margaret , loving father of Nadine Walker, Marie Walker , Linda (Greg) Horbinski, Janine ( Jeff ) Morgan, Margaret (Mike) Mann, Patrice (Charlie) Coughenour, Denise (Jerry) Witt and Norbert Walker. Proud grandfather to Lian & Jessica Horbinski, Marlene, Margaret & Brandy Morgan, Virginia & Casey Mann, John & Anna Witt . Great-grandfather to Octavia & Bryson. Further survived by his brother Robert (Elaine) Walker, and sisters Bernadine Conrad and Joanne Walker; Nieces, Nephews, other Relatives and Friends.

He proudly served his country during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW Cudahy Post #2895. He was a devoted employee until his retirement at American Motors/Chrysler Corp. He served as an usher for St. Sylvester’s from the churches start until its merge with Divine Mercy, his smiling face was a fixture at the 10:15 mass.

Many heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Vince Lombardi South Shore Clinic, Aurora St. Luke’s and the Visiting Nurses Association for their kindness and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, Nov. 29, 11AM at Divine Mercy-13th Ave., 1304 Manitoba Ave., South Milwaukee. Visitation at church from 9AM until the time of Mass. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
