

Born March 9, 1954, entered into the arms of the Lord on September 14, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer, Preceded in death by her father Alfred "Pete" Paquin. Lovingly survived by her mother Adeline (nee Hnanicek) Sobotta, stepfather Aaron Sobotta, sisters Karen (Pete) Leszcynski, and Suzy (Bill) Erwin; further survived by Paquin, Harvanek, and Hnanicek uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Patti was a graduate of Oak Creek High School and UW-Oshkosh. She was a devoted and dedicated teacher, first at St. Louis School in Caledonia, then at St. Adalbert School in South Milwaukee. She moved to Divine Mercy School in South Milwaukee when the schools were combined. Patti was well liked and respected by her fellow teachers, as well as her many students over her 30 years of teaching.
Patti enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas. She was an avid Bears fan, as well as an enthusiastic reader of Stephen King novels. Most of all, she loved entertaining family and friends at her condo, especially during the Christmas season.
Memorial service and celebration of Patti's life will be held Saturday, September 20, at 11:00AM at the funeral home chapel. Memorial gathering on Saturday from 10:00AM until time of service. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice is appreciated.
The family wishes to thank Doctors' Brehm and Cuevas, the staff at the Reiman Cancer Center; and most especially, we want to thank the caring and attentive nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital/Hospice.
Patti touched many lives with her gentle, caring and considerate ways. Please perform an act of kindness for someone in her memory.
