Ralph V. Zimmerman

Reunited with his beloved son, Charlie on Friday, September 7, 2012.

Left to share in his memories are his wife: Virginia J.; sons: Don and Ron; grandchildren: Jestine, Immanuel, Arron and Justin; four great-grandchildren; siblings: John (Irene), Bill (Donna), Margaret (Eugene) Zagrodnik and Judith (Ken) Simon; other relatives and friends.

Zimmy was an artist, musician and sports enthusiast who was in love with life! He played the guitar and mandolin, sketched, painted and carved. He was an avid golfer and a dyed-in-the-wool Packer fan! Little children always made him smile and his home always had an open door, with the Welcome mat rolled out. Zimmy honorably served our country as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army Air Corps during WWII.

Our deepest gratitude to the family and friends who visited him so regularly and to the staffs of Franciscan Villa and VITAS Hospice for their gentle care.

Visitation Saturday, September 29 from 1:30-2:00PM at FRANCISCAN GARDENS CHAPEL (1010 Williams Av, South Milwaukee) with Memorial Service 2:00PM.
