Albert Edward Raines

Albert E., Raines died on Saturday, September 22, 2012. He was 83 years of age. Born in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Albert Herman and Ellen Elena Treston. He was a Feasterville resident for 56 years.

Mr. Raines was a retired employee of the Philadelphia Gas Works. He was an Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post # 687 in Philadelphia.

He was a member of the Tacony Lodge #600 F. & A.M. and the Valley Of Allentown Consistory, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite.

Albert was a former Cub and Scout master with Troop #76 in Feasterville. He was a former Little League coach with the LSAA. Albert enjoyed camping, fishing and crabbing.

Albert was the beloved husband of Elaine Hallam Raines for 61 years. He was the devoted father of Bryan Raines (Donna) of Levittown, Craig Raines of Feasterville, and Nadine Feder (Andrew) of Milton, DE. He was the loving grandfather of Jessica Bunting (Derek) and Robin Feder. He was the brother of Harry Raines of Cleveland, TX, Ellen Cummiskey of Ellenton, FL, Tom Treston of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jimmy Treston of Glendale, AZ, Kim Rau of Emmaus, PA, and the late Charles Raines of Ellenton, FL.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 28th from 10:30 AM to 12 noon at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, Street Road & 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. His service and Masonic service will follow at noon.

His interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.
