Bernice M Freeman

Bernice M. (nee Waldorf) Freeman, died on Wednesday August 11, 2010 at Abington Memorial. She was 86 years of age. Born in Buffalo, NY, she was a Warminster resident since 1966. She was formerly of Rockland, MA.

Mrs. Freeman was a homemaker. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of Warminster. Bernice served the Church as a volunteer working on the church bulletin, as a member of the prayer chain, and as the Sunshine Lady. She was very family oriented and loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Bernice was the beloved wife of Robert A. Freeman for 51 years before 1998. She was the devoted mother of Kathleen M. (Philip) Wheaton of Allentown and Robert M. Freeman of Warminster. She was the loving grandmother of Robert J. Freeman, Michael J. and Mark R. Mixa; great grandmother of Zachary, Nathan, Brody, Ashlynn, and Morgan Mixa, Jake, Maria, and Sarah Freeman.

Relatives and friends are invited to her service 11 AM on Tuesday August 17 at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966. The family will receive friends from 9 AM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church, 1169 Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974.
