

Imre (Jim) Pack of Huntingdon Valley, PA, and Venice, FL, peacefully passed away at Christ Home in Warminster, PA on Monday morning, November 6, 2023. He recently celebrated his 94th birthday surrounded by the love and best wishes of his family.
Jim was born in Hungary of German descent and took pride in his heritage. His family settled in Philadelphia after leaving war-torn Hungary and he then served in the US Army.
He played soccer for many years and won a national amateur championship as a head coach. He was an avid sports enthusiast, always ready to talk about his favorite teams. He was a successful business entrepreneur, known for his wit, humor, and charm, which endeared him to everyone who knew him.
Jim was the beloved husband of Mary (Mitzi) for 64 years until her passing in 2020. They enjoyed dancing and the camaraderie of the United German Hungarian Club, where they were active members and formed lifelong friendships. After 50 years of marriage, they made the decision to move to Florida, where they found joy in their new home.
Jim was the devoted father of four children: Veronica Faust (Bart), Linda, James, and Stephen (Holly). He is survived by four grandchildren, Luke, Kristen, Lindsey Declet (Chris), and Ian, as well as two great-grandchildren, Makenzie and Jaxon.
In accordance with his wishes, Jim will rest in peace alongside Mary at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood, FL. The family will hold a life celebration event for Jim and Mitzi at a later date.
