Joan Katherine Leldahl Moreland

Joan K. Moreland died on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Abington Hospice in Warminster. She was 84 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine Condie Leldahl. Joan was a longtime resident of Warminster. She had also lived in Barefoot Bay, FL.

Mrs. Moreland was a former employee of the Budd Company Red Lion Plant. She was a member of the Feasterville Community Reformed Church.

Earlier in her life Joan had competitively raced cars at rallies. She was an avid reader and an Eagles and Phillies fan. Joan and her husband, Robert enjoyed traveling in their Airstream travel trailer. They had visited all forty-eight of the contiguous states.

Joan was the beloved wife of Robert E. Moreland for 32 years before his death in 1999. She was the devoted mother of Catherine Meller of Warminster and Daniel G. Moreland (Stacy) of Allentown. She was the loving grandmother of Alexander and John Meller. She was the sister of Janet Palmer (Walter) of Holland.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 AM on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, Street Road & Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Her funeral service will be at 11 AM. Joan’s interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.
