Lorraine was born on Sept. 27, 1935, to parents Adolph Ulrich and Alberta (Dolan) Ulrich. She graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in 1953. Lorraine was a medical secretary for about three decades before she retired.
Lorraine enjoyed crafts of all kinds and was a voracious reader. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen trying new recipes. She also enjoyed playing board games and was proud to be able to routinely complete New York Times crossword puzzles. Most of all, she loved her family.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, John L. George Jr., her sister, Kathleen Flannery, and one son, Kenneth George. She is survived by one daughter, Donna (Rudy); two sons, Michael and John (Mia) and one son-in-law, Bill. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Karla, Becky (David) and Eliana; and four great-grandchildren, Brandon, Kelsee, Steven and Jackson. In addition, she is survived by three nieces.
A viewing will be held June 7, starting at 8:45 a.m., at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Road, Upper Southampton, Pa., 18966, followed by a funeral mass at St. John Bosco Church at 215 E. County Line Road in Warminster and interment at Resurrection Cemetery at 5201 Hulmeville Road in Bensalem.
