Margaret A McEwen

Margaret A. McEwen died on Monday, February 03, 2014 at The Arbors in Feasterville. She was 81 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph V. and Catherine Flanagan McEwen. Margaret was an Oakford resident for the past 25 years.

Miss McEwen was a former employee of IDP in Jenkintown. She was a communicant of the Assumption BVM Parish in Feasterville. Margaret was a member of the Neshaminy Activity Center in Trevose. She enjoyed bingo at the center and traveling.

Margaret was the beloved sister of Joan Widdop of Oakford and the late Joseph V. McEwen. She was the aunt of Harry Widdop (Lori), Cathy White (Jerry) both of Trevose, Carol Kelly (Hugh) of Feasterville, and Joseph Widdop (Robin) of Oakford; grand aunt of Heather Widdop, Jerry White, Matt White, Cayla Widdop, Taylor Kelly, and Joey Widdop.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 7th at the Assumption BVM Church, Bristol & Meadowbrook Rds., Feasterville. Her family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. Her interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital American Heart Association, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
