Marlin Joseph Rebuck

"Joe" ("Sonny" "Pop") grew up in Philadelphia and Feasterville before rooting his "Village of Rebuck" in Churchville, Pa.

Together, with first wife, Doris (Taylor) Rebuck, Joe had five children. Along with Sharon (Barats) Rebuck, devoted wife of 40 years, they raised their 5 children Daniel, Brian, Alan, Jim (Jean), Karen (Terry), collectively in loving harmony; eight grand kids; Danny, Lisa, Becky, Jason, Libra (Casey), Brittany (Ian), Madison and Nicholas, and six great grand kids: Danny, Wesley, Leo, James, Bentley and Sonny.

Joe is also survived by his sister Joan Gowan, sister-in-law, Irene Rebuck and many nieces and nephews.

Joe was honorably discharged after serving as a United States Army Military Police Officer in 1962.

Joe's career was spent as co-owner of Strathmann Lumber Co., in Southampton, Pa until retirement.

In retirement, Joe dabbled in advertising - where his signature closing salutation was born: "as I see it" by Joe Rebuck.

Aside from cooking, his absolute favorite pastime in life was fishing, with family and friends alike.

Fondest memories were created during annual fishing trips to Lake Ontario, Canada.

Joe will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him.

A non-profit organization Enriching the Lives of Children with Special Needs through Fishing.

A Service and Celebration of Joe's life will be held at a later date.
