Ann was born August 19, 1966 to John and Frances Hill in Andrews, Texas. She didn't know a stranger and was always putting others before herself. Ann was very proud of her children and grandchildren; she was a loving mother and Grammy who had the biggest heart. She loved her family, she enjoyed gardening, and writing poems. Ann touched many people's lives and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by a brother Arnold David Hill and her partner James Monroe Sherrill, Jr.
Survivors include her parents John and Frances Hill of Andrews, Texas; two sons, Justin Hagewood of Leland, and Joshua Hagewood and wife Ashley of Boiling Spring Lakes; a daughter Samantha Hagewood of Leland; a special niece who was like a daughter Kelly Whitehead of Tarboro; a sister Delina Parks of Gun Barrel City, Texas; and five grandchildren, Nicholas Hagewood, Jordan Hagewood, Peyton Hagewood, Penelope Bryan, and Kendall Hagewood.
A memorial service will be held in the Peacock - Newnam & White Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 3:00 pm with Reverend Clay Weed officiating.
