Charlene was born in Charleston, West Virginia on February 21,1940 the daughter of the late Everett Barker and Goldie Barker. She was was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
Surviving a daughter, Connie Hager of Eastpointe, MI; two grandchildren, Bobby and Tracy Smith; three great-grandchildren, Kendra Smith, Ianto Gartland and Osian Gartland; several nieces and nephews.
