

Mr. Page was born October 24, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Clifford and Alyce Page. He was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend with a BA in economics. He held an MBA in finance from UCLA. Mr. Page worked his entire career in banking; retiring as a Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at JP Morgan in Chicago. He and his wife retired to St. James in 2004. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church where he served as stewardship chairman. He was past-president of the Southport / Oak Island Kiwanis Club; a volunteer for Meals on Wheels; and served on the board of advisors for the Brunswick Senior Resources Inc. and the Boys and Girls Club of Southport. Mr. Page enjoyed golfing, bowling, his book club, and was known and loved by many. He was preceded in death by two beloved granddaughters Angelina and Madison.
Surviving is his wife Mary Page of the home; two sons Michael Page and fiancée Susan of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Christopher Page and wife Pamela of Elgin, Illinois; a sister Shelia Swanson and husband Byron of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren Daniel Page, Olivia Page, and Joshua Page; a niece Leslie Elrod and husband Elliott and their children Renee and Ian; and a nephew Eric Swanson and wife Kristin and their children Sean and Ryan.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2015 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend David P. Nelson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the columbarium. Following the memorial service a reception will be held at The Members Club at St. James Plantation.
