Mr. Hardy was born May 10, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late George and Eileen Hardy. He spent his entire adult life working in textiles for Butte Knit, Fruit of the Loom, and Anvil Knitwear, during which he traveled the world on their behalf. In spite of often being away, he was a devoted and attentive family man.
Survivors include his wife, Marti Hardy; and a daughter, Megan Chambers and husband Chris.
A private family service will be held.
