Bruce was born in Greensboro NC on July 4, 1950. He attended Bessemer Elementary and Junior High and Page High school. He was an avid sportsman. He was employed by NASCAR where he met many wonderful and interesting people. Bruce served in the United States Army as a Staff Sargent with tours in Germany and Vietnam. He received numerous awards and medals including a Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. It was a true honor for him to serve his country.
He is survived by his wife Susan (Stafford) Murray of the home and daughter Traci M. Murray of Raleigh NC. Bruce and Susan were married 50 years.
At the personal request of Bruce, he asked that no services be conducted. His only wish was that each of you enjoys the memories of your friendships. The family wishes to extend our sincerest thanks for your support and kindness.
