Ed was born February 26, 1961 in Queens, NY the son of the late Byron and Eleanor Mylod. He was a loving husband and father; he was always comforting and supportive, and was always quick with a joke. Mr. Mylod worked as a commercial floor coverer in New York and Wilmington until 1999. Ed was an avid NY Giants football fan.
Survivors include his loving wife Susan Mylod; four children, Eddie, Shannon, Kenny, and Danny; his sister Laura Cardinale and her husband Phil; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Tragically his son Casey Michael Mylod passed away at the same time as Mr. Mylod.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Oak Island Evangelical Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. Walter Taylor officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church.
