Born February 20, 1950 in Fayetteville, NC, she was a daughter of Woodrow and Alma Huckabee. She had a love of music and was the pianist for more than 20 years at Wesley’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She was finance director of the town of Red Springs before retiring to Southport in 2018.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Pittman and his wife, Melissa, and their children, Kirsten, Aubri, Kinsley, and Logan; and her daughter, Jennifer Wilson and her husband, Ben; a sister, Jane Hedgpeth and her children, Stephen, Becky, and Woody.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Aunt and Uncle, Louise and Lee Maxwell.
