Mr. Blaine was born September 12, 1939, son of the late Lancaster Shumway Blaine and Alberta Catherine Poland Blaine.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Gail, with whom he shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with joy, companionship, and a special love for music, dancing and classic cars. He was also predeceased by his sister Barbara Godfrey.
Lanny is survived by his devoted wife of 17 years, Vera Anne Blaine, who brought renewed warmth and companionship to his later years; their marriage was a true blessing, enriching his life and expanding his family.
Lanny is survived by two daughters, Lori Marie Mason (Neal) and Stacy Blaine Oliveri (Scott); three grandchildren, Blaine Allen Mason (Kayla), Reagan Oliveri Swiren (Matthew), and Daniel Oliveri; and 2 great grandchildren due in June. He also leaves behind four stepchildren, Carrie Beeton Harley (Chris), Courtney Mabry Beeton (Paolo), Laura Beeton Carter, and Chandra Beene Wheeler (Brooks); and nine step-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
