We were blessed to buy Miss Linda and Billy’s house on Oak Island. She was such a beautiful soul who treated us like family from the first day she met us. She is now made whole and singing with the angels.

Linda & I grew up in the Glenwood Community & attended Peck , Jackson & Smith. We sang together at all three schools, her talent was a joy to  behold.  I count her as a friend & it was so nice seeing her again at our 50th reunion.  May her family & all who love her find peace & comfort in God’s love & in sweet memories of her! I am sure she is singing in that Heavenly choir & if there are pianos there she is playing one! God bless!

Linda and I became great friends in Smith High choir immediately.  We cut up every day then got serious when time to perform. Her standout musical talent was always perfect and I will some day sing again with her in heaven.

My sincerest sympathies to your families on Linda’s passing. She was my first girl friend, probably around 1963 - 1964. She was a pretty, sweet, talented Christian young lady, much better than I deserved!  I was always made to feel welcome by her parents and brother Jerry in their Oak Street home.  May God bless each of you and give you comfort knowing that Linda is in the more immediate presence of her Savior.

I first met Linda when she was the organist at Glenwood Friends church when I was 12 years old. She was the prettiest woman I’d ever seen with those bright blue eyes and smile that would light up a room. 
Later she became a client of mine and I was her hair stylist for years. I always looked forward to her appointments because when you had a chance to see Linda she always made you feel loved and valued and she always a had a great story…we shared many laughs together. I haven’t seen her in years but her memory will be with me forever. Heaven has truly gained the most precious angel ❤️

I am so very sorry to hear about Linda's passing.  We were childhood friends and even had matching bicycles! She was so musically talented.  She had a beautiful voice and played both the piano and organ.  May she rest in peace.

Linda was a one-of-a-kind friend. Loyal and loving. Her talent never ceased to amaze us during school and after graduation. This is a great loss to all who loved her. RIP, my friend.

What a life well lived. Linda always had a smile that was infectious.  Linda and my sister, Lynn Oldham Hipp, were best friends in school, singing in the "Musettes," and running around together, cruising around Greensboro,  probably looking for boys. She was extremely talented and popular in school and in her adult life. She will always be in our thoughts as all of us loved and appreciated Linda. Condolences to the family.

Linda was a good friend throughout high school and we sang together in a sextet called the Musettes until graduation. We often double dated too, with a friend of my husband’s from the Air Force. she was such a talented musician and such fun to hang out with. My deepest sympathy in your loss.
