

Mrs. Oldham was born June 2, 1948 in Greensboro, NC, daughter of the late Junior and Madeline Craig. She graduated from Smith High School in Greensboro. If anyone knew Linda, they would know her love for music was very important to her. In her early music career, she made an album with a group named "Rejoicing Sounds" and her baby grand piano was one of her pride and joys. Linda assisted with the family business, Modern Garbage, until her retirement to the Southport / Oak Island area in 2000.
Survivors include two step-sons, Charles Douglas Oldham and wife Gina and William David Oldham and wife Jan; four step-granddaughters, Ava Oldham, Charly Oldham, Cambria Oldham, and Cassidy Oldham; a sister-in-law, Nanci Craig; a niece, Alyson Craig and Michael; a nephew, Justin Craig and wife Amber; four great-nieces, Hartley Metcalfe, Kinsley Craig, Daphne Craig, and Chole Craig. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Charles Oldham; and a brother, Jerry Craig.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Bethel Baptist Church. There will be a reception following the service in the church fellowship hall.
