Mr. Driggers was born September 2, 1950 in Anson County, North Carolina, son of the late Lee Roy Driggers and Virginia Mae Driggers. He was a veteran of the US Air Force having served in Vietnam. Buddy was a very special, one of a kind, hard working, honest, loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Driggers; five children, Brandy Teal and husband Gene, Kelli Gainey and husband David, Richard Mac Donald, April Driggers, and Joshua Driggers and wife Amber; 10 grandchildren, Melody, Wesley, Victoria, Bryon, Josh, Rebecka, Emmett, Carter, Jasper, and Amelia; a great-grandson, Hank; a brother, Butch Driggers; and a sister, Mary Gaskins. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Stephen Mac Donald; and a sister, Cindy Cox.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
