Robin Ivey Gortman

Robin was born in Lumberton, NC on January 19, 1958 to the late Gilbert Warren Ivey and Ava Gray Ivey (Rice).

In addition to both parents, she was preceded in death by partner Don Yeoman.

Robin is survived by her daughter Andrea Matthis, husband Eric of Clinton NC, son Jason Stephens, wife Jamie of Elizabeth City NC, and stepdaughter Robyn Stark, husband Pat of Indiana. Granddaughters, Emily and Natalie Stephens, Elizabeth City, grandson Payton Stark, Indiana, and fur babies George, Zoe and Boone, Clinton, NC. Siblings, Mike Ivey, wife Kim of Las Vegas, NV, Charles Ivey, partner Geraldine of Lumberton NC, Brenda Ivey of Lumberton NC, Teal Ivey of Lumberton NC, Marty Ivey, wife Sherrie of Sanford NC and 10 nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Church of Oak Island, 4608 E Oak Island Dr on Saturday August 12th at 1 pm.
