Mr. Shore was born December 17, 1939 in Elkin, NC, son of the late David and Irene Shore. He was the former owner of Shore to Shore Moving and Storage, 49th Street Station, and C and S Amusement. Sam enjoyed NASCAR and never missed watching a race on Sunday.
Survivors include his companion, Carol Griffie; a son, Samuel David Shore, Jr.; a granddaughter, Molly Shore; a brother, Roger Shore and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Annette Shore; and a brother, Charles A. Shore.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
