Siegrid Gabrielle Kenyon

Siegrid Kenyon, 76, of Southport passed away on March 11, 2025. Siegrid was born on December 22, 1948 to the late George and Ingeborg Kashner. Siegrid left behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Glenn Kenyon. She had four children Shannon Ferman and husband Jeff, Michael Kenyon, Eric Kenyon, and James Ryan Kenyon and wife Nadine. Siegrid had 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, two brothers Bill and Harold Kashner, and a sister Carrie Denise O'hara.

Born into a military family, Siegrid’s life was shaped by adventure, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the world around her. She carried these values into her own family life, marrying Glenn and raising four wonderful children with warmth, strength, and an endless capacity for care.

She found joy in simple pleasures—feeling the ocean breeze at the beach, sharing laughter over games, and staying active on the pickleball court. Whether competing in a friendly match or offering a helping hand, Siegrid’s generous spirit and playful nature shone through. She had a natural way of caring for others, making everyone around her feel valued and supported.

Siegrid’s love, energy, and kindness will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those who knew her. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched, the family she nurtured, and the joy she spread so effortlessly.

A celebration of her life will be held later this summer at Caswell Beach.
