

Mrs. Cundiff was born July 31, 1945 in Rheinlander, WI to the late Frank and Betty Rezarch. Sue had worked for the FBI for three years, and as a dental technician in Rheinlander, WI, where she and Dan met and were married. For the next 36 years, she and Dan lived in numerous locations across the country. Prior to Dan retiring in 2001, Sue designed and built their retirement home in St. James. In building the home, Sue asked Dan, "what was her budget". Dan answered, "unlimited"; to which Sue replied, "that's not enough". Sue will be remembered as a very caring, generous, and compassionate person. She loved to entertain, working in her kitchen, and spending time on the beach with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Dan Cundiff; daughter, Dr. Marne Tower and husband Jason; grandson, Max Tower; two brothers, Tim and John Rezarch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Laurie Bly.
A funeral mass will be held at a later date at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport.
