

He was born on April 19,1942 to the late Eugene Tassone and Antoinette Morabito Tassone in Port Chester, New York.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gene Tassone, and sister, Irene Yardis.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of sixty-one years, Callie Rogers Tassone; daughters, Lisa Tassone and Denise Barcia (husband, Salvatore); brother Joseph Tassone (Joan), grandchildren: Dayna Christerson (Lauren), Eryn Barcia-Caputo (Michael), David Daubenspeck, Jillian Barcia-Pacelli (John), Maggie Daubenspeck; great grandchild, Christopher Caputo, and nieces and nephews.
Vincent was raised in Port Chester, NY and graduated from Port Chester High School in 1960. He later lived in Connecticut where he served thirty-seven years in the Connecticut Army National Guard and retired as Command Sergeant Major. He was an avid NY Yankees baseball fan and civil war history buff. His passions included cooking, going for walks along the Southport waterfront, and spending time with his family and friends.
A funeral mass for Vincent will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Southport, North Carolina.
