Eleanor Suzanne Rickel

Eleanor "Ellie" Rickel, 80, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023, in Boynton Beach Florida. She was born in Montreal, Quebec Canada on July 28th, 1942, the daughter of the late Marion and the late Abraham Goldsmith.

Ellie was a devoted mother to her four children, Robert (Jill) Rickel, Laurie Drew, Jamie (Tanya) Rickel, and Doug Rickel, and a loving Bubby to her grandchildren Adam, Elana, Daniel, Amy, Jennifer, Brian, Mitchell, Bruna, Jason, Erin, Scott, Camryn and Daphnie, as well as her great-grandchildren Max, Ben, Oliver, Marielle and Dylan. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Morris, whom she will now join at long last.

Ellie will be remembered for her kind heart, her warm smile, and her unwavering love for her family. She had a passion for singing, piano playing, and spending time with her loved ones.

Ellie lived a full life and leaves behind countless memories that will be cherished by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

A private funeral service will be held for family and close friends on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 2:00-3:00 pm at Menorah Gardens & Funeral Chapels, 21100 West Griffin Road, Southwest Ranches Florida 33332 to celebrate Ellie's life and honor her memory.
